It was 2007 when Vijay — craving authentic pani-puris — visited his local Indian store. What he got was a disappointment: poor quality, high price. His wife Geeta encouraged him to make them from scratch. That evening their kitchen filled with the aroma of freshly made gol-guppas. The result was extraordinary.
Word spread fast. Armed with ziplock bags of homemade gol-guppas, Vijay — from a lineage of entrepreneurs — approached local Indian stores. The response was electric. Authentic taste, impeccable quality, affordable pricing. Customers came back again and again.
From that kitchen, Amba Foods was born. What started as a simple solution to a craving has grown into a brand that manufactures 750+ authentic Indian products, distributes across Australia, and serves both the families who love our food and the businesses who trust us as their supplier.
